Esther De Jong

Stats: 85/61/91  Height: 178  DOB: May 16, 1974

Esther has been a model since at least 1996. She's been booked for numerous catwalk shows but hasn't been that popular with magazine editors and advertisers. All I know about her personal life is that in 1999 she was living in the south of France raising horses in her spare time. A very beautiful woman with an almost aristocratic aura about her - excellent haute couture potential.

It's very rare to spot Esther nowdays - I've survived on a meagre diet of one Esther editorial (Italian Vogue) and 3 runway showings (Ralph Rucci HC, Chado & Krizia) over the past year.

 

Eugenia Silva

Stats: 81/61/89   DOB: Jan 13, 1976

She was one of the winners of the Elite Look of the Year contest in 1991. Like Martina Klein she is very well known in Spain but largely unknown outside her country, despite having paraded for a lot of important designers from 1997 to 99. Recently I've seen her in a few editorials in US Elle, some Escada ads and some scans from Victoria's Secret catalogues. Eugenia is one of the few models who has both a magnificent body and face.

Eva Riccobono

Eva Riccobono is the most successful of the new crop of Italian models. She doesn't look typically Italian the way say Maria Carla does - Eva's more of a freak. She's currently an A-lister, and appears to have attained her elevated status rapidly. In 2002 she was doing the London circuit and editorials for minor Italian mags like Grazia.

She comes from Sicily.

 

Georgina Cooper

Stats: 86/64/90  Height: 177cm  DOB: ?

Georgina has met with limited success as a model. I've seen her predominantly on the catwalks of British and minor Italian designers.

You wouldn't say she's beautiful but there's something about her that stays the eye. Her eyes are wonderful. She has a large gap between her two upper front teeth, a flaw which, like with An Oost, seems to make her more interesting.

Update: Georgina was an A-list model at one stage (around 1998), when she was cast for some important shows like Versace.
